NBR: Apartment Rentals

This board seems to get more action than the Nest Board.

DH and I are relocating to South Florida from NY in 2 weeks. We are having trouble finding a place to live because we have no idea if these complexes are in nice areas, safe etc.

Anyone have any recs on rental communities in the coconut creek/coral springs area?

    We lived at Coral Falls in Coral Springs. They offer 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, and they're large. It's centrally located and right off the main area in Coral Springs for shops and restaurants. The management company is wonderful! They made everything super easy and it was a nice little community. GL!

    Olen Residential has 2 nice properties in Coral Springs, check their website, i forget the names of them. I worked for the company about 7 years ago and i remember they were nice there!

    Plenty of rentals in the North Coral Springs area, Coral Ridge Drive....it is a good area.  You may want to listen to PP, with private rentals you tend to get more for your money!

    Honestly DH and I prefer going to rental places to find homes. You can tell them what you're looking for and they drive you around to places so you don't have to check for yourself. There are apartments and privately owned places too.

    We lived at The Preserve at Coral Square from 2000-2009 and were very happy there.  The apartments were very convenient for walking to the grocery store, mall, gym, restaurants, etc.
