Update on spotting

Hey girls,

Again, thank you all SO much for keeping me in your T&P and thank you Cashew for doing such a great job on the check-ins. It is a huge help knowing I have all of you thinking of me.

The spotting is still the same that it has been all weekend. Just brown, mostly when I wipe but sometimes on my pantiliner too. Still no bright red or severe cramps, although I've had some mild ones.

At the office today I had my preceptor draw betas, and it came back 25,000 today which is within the normal range for 5-6 weeks. I'll get another one drawn Wednesday to see if it is increasing properly or not which should be pretty telling for whats going on. I'm nervous!!

I'm no doctor, but your number sounds really encouraging. I think we both have the same due date and my doubling time is 37 hours according to my last beta at 20dpo... That said I calculated what it should be 1 week later (tomorrow) and with a 48 hour doubling time it should be around 25000. Usually if things aren't normal the numbers drop pretty quickly until around the last 1000. I know it's scary, I've been there and it didn't end well for me in my last pregnancy (I had red spotting tho). Everyone is different, but I think you will come through this just fine. Stay positive and I'm sending sticky baby vibes to you. T & P.

I'm optimistic for you and sending Ts & Ps your way! Stick baby, stick! Will you get to have an internal exam at all? Have you had an u/s yet? My Dr. checked me out yesterday to see if she could see bleeding, which she couldn't.

She said she had no explanation for the spotting.

Good luck - I got blood work done today too because of the spotting and so far so good. She said my betas were in the right range and progesterone was getting pretty high. No numbers though - I'll have to ask for that on Wednesday.
