So, last night I was in the dining room and Hudson's seahorse went off. It's not unlike him to set it off himself but I wanted to go in and check on him. He was asleep in the far corner of his crib, the seahorse on the other side. It was glowing and playing music. Hudson was sound asleep on his belly.

So I go tell DH and we blow it off.

Wake up this morning and I am making toast in the kitchen (H's room is next to the kitchen) and I hear one of his doors open. Hudson wakes up and starts crying. So thinking DH is in there, I go through the other door. DH was still in bed and no one was in Hudson's room. I don't even think our air was running at the time. Hudson stopped crying when he saw me.

Explaination anyone? Maybe my MIL is around.....

I think what would scare me is your DS started crying...not cooing at something. He obviously was upset. Hopefully it was just something random.

I used to have a toy doll -- I think the "My Buddy" for girls...anyway, it was always talking by itself. Scared the $hit out of me. I made my mom throw it away!

Kid Sister? Lol...I remember the song from the commercial.

Yeah, I thought it was weird that he got all upset. Didn't sit well with me.

We went to DH's church yesterday for the first time in a LONG TIME. We usually go to the Catholic church (I am Catholic, Hudson is baptised Catholic, DH is RLDS). I find it strange that this stuff started happening last night.

Are you on the east coast? It would scare the crap outta me. There is this place up in Iowa though...you can spend the night there, but most people don't last through the night. The Villisca Axe Murders of 1912. Have you heard of that one?

Well, most places we go to don?t have anything going on. It?s mainly cases of people getting paranoid and blowing things out of proportion.

We spent a weekend in Gettysburg last April and investigated there. We stayed at a place called the Tilly Pierce Inn (I think that was the name). We had some pretty crazy things happen there. That was the first time I ?saw something.? We were in one of the bedrooms and you could clearly see the black outline of a man peek out from the bathroom. No one was in there, though. I thought I was going crazy, but another girl in the group also saw it. That was the first and only time I had something ?touch? me also. I was sitting on the floor and something grabbed my leg. I was 5 months pregnant at the time. Seriously, you?ve never seen a pregnant woman jump and run so fast. We also caught a lot of audio while we were there. At the same time we were in the room where we saw the figure and I got touched, we had audio recorders going and at 2:30am you could here a man yelling ?Woah! Woah!? Then you heard a horse neigh really loud. Well, none of us heard it at the time and there definitely weren?t any horses out at 2:30am.

The worst thing I?ve experienced is at this one little old lady?s house. She?s in her 80s and lives by herself. Something is in her house and literally torments her. We?ve been there numerous times and you could here something ?talking.? Doors have closed on their own while we?ve been there (once was caught on video). You could also hear something walking in the attic. The problem is, the attic is just a little crawl space. We?ve put video cameras up there and when you hear whatever it is walking, you could clearly see there is nothing up there. No animals, rodents, anything. I honestly feel bad for that lady because she really is scared and there actually is something going on there.

When we do find things (or even experience things) it?s mainly auditory. It?s very rare you see or feel anything. Honestly, it?s rare when you find anything at all. A lot of the time you leave a place and the whole conversation going home is about how boring the night was.

I?m going out with the group again next Saturday. If anything cool happens, I?ll report back. J

Do you watch Ghost Hunters? If so, they've investigated Fort Mifflin and Eastern State Penn in Philly. We're trying to get to both of those places to investigate. The only thing with ESP is that they charge like $300 per person for 4 hours. It's insane.

I also lived right down the road from Fort Delaware when I lived in DE. I never got to go there, though. I'm trying to talk my team into doing a trip down there to investigate.

I was kinda like...that is freaking strange. If it is a ghost of anyone, it is my MIL. I never knew her, but I think she would really want to be around Hudson. It doesn't really freak me out because I just keep telling myself that it is her.

Sometimes I think my MIL (she has passed away as well) visits DD too. Sometimes when she wakes up she will start "talking" to herself and laughing.
