Ok, so my husband & I just had unprotected sex for the first time last night (we are not really trying to conceive until we get our house settled) on accident...basically we got carried away and weren't careful (he usually pulls out, puts a condom on & then finishes). When I was on the pill, his semen would just glob out right away, so I was careful to get up this time & not make a mess. I went to the bathroom when we were done & no glob...is this normal? When does his sperm come out, or am I in big trouble??

Re: Kind of a Gross Question...
you are in big trouble alright....although it has nothing to do with globs.
This is probably mud, but on the off chance it isn't, maybe he just didn't finish.
I can't believe I actually just typed that.

hooo boy. First, his sperm never comes out. It's the semen that drips back out (and maybe some of the stupid sperm) but the rest go straight in your cervix as soon as he ejaculates. Second, it's NEVER safe to get started and THEN put on a condom. There can be sperm in pre ejaculate. Third, it is entirely possible that unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy, but where are you at in your cycle? Do you temp and track your ovulation? As far as worrying about being pregnant, if now isn't the right time go pick up some plan B.
LMAO!
Is it even possible to "accidentally" have unprotected sex? Barring instances of "oops, I slipped on the ice and landed on a penis," of course. In all my years of trying not to get pregnant, not once did I accidentally have unprotected sex.
Not that starting to have sex and putting a condom on later is all that protected.
You do know you being on the pill has nothing to do with what his seman does. Right?
any given time of the month, fluids down there will look different. you may not have a glob today, you may have a glob tomorrow, everyone is different and I'm not licensed to give out that kind of globformation.

Maybe he rubbed one out before you had sex?
You beat me to it..
FYI tracking it as in "day 14 = ovulation and day 28 = period" means nothing. You won't actually know if you ovulate unless you're taking your temperature. Even if you use ovulation predictors, you can test positive but not actually ovulate. That being said, if you have already ovulated you probably aren't pregnant because the egg only lives for about 24 hours. That website is an invaluable learning tool, definitely look at their info. Good luck and I hope things work out the way you want them to.
I heart this thread.
OP, I hate to break it to you, but I'd bet anything you are, in fact, KU.
This is quite possibly the best thing I have ever read on here.
LOL. Ahh what a way to start my Tuesday.
I know, this and my coffee and bagel (with a glob of cream cheese)? it just makes today that much better.

Well I hope you ladies will adopt "glob" into your everyday vocabulary & think of me sometimes.
2 things.
1.) I love the term rubbed one out.
2.) I just wanted to be a part of this. It's special.
I am with you on this. I saw this last night & almost pissed myself.
I kind of like you OP. You should come & play here more often.
