Help me please, nesties.
So Micah has obstructive sleep apnea. She wakes up 2-7 times a night, every night. She is having her tonsils and adenoids taken out March 1st to fix it.
BUT. The girls share a room. Mia is being woken up every night by Micah. She is miserable (as is Micah). I moved Mia to the spare bedroom, but she hates it. She wakes up almost as frequently because she wants to be back in her own bed and with her sister.
I feel bad moving Micah to another room, because she is already waking up scared because she can't breathe. Plus, our pack-n-play is old and very uncomfortable. But I guess then at least Mia would sleep... I just hate for Micah to lose her sense of comfort and stability in her crib.
So do I:
1.) Leave Mia in the spare bedroom, hoping she'll get used to it and at least one child is sleeping.
2.) Move Micah to a pack-n-play in another room?
3.) Put them both back in the same room, deal with it for another month.
4.) Other -- Please define. And remember -- I can't drink wine.
Re: WWYD: sleeping arrangement edition
Is Micah too young for a toddler bed still? The only thing I can think of is getting a small toddler bed and putting Micah in your room with you. That way Mia is still in her own bed and own room, and Micah will have you guys there for comfort if she wakes up scared ... and since it's only until March.
I suggest this thinking that you are both waking up when she wakes up at night. If that is not the case then I would keep Mia in the spare room and hope she will get used to it.
Poor babies and poor Momma. I pray that March comes quickly for you and it makes her all better!

She is, technically. But Mia was already in a big-girl bed when she had these issues and she would often roam around the house when she woke up. maybe if she were in my room, it would help, though.
**EDITED** I had put "isn't" but meant "She IS". Whoops, sorry.
