cheap onesies?

my friend is going to have twins sometime this month and the crew here is going to send her some homemade onesies with cute says (i.e. My Momma Loves Madonna, I am cuter than my sister etc). these are not meant to last forever and i am just using the DIY print yourself iron-on transfer paper....what is a good source of cheap onesies? target? Kmart? i don't want to go thrift store as i am hoping to get like 10 of the same type.

Re: cheap onesies?

  • I'm guessing Walmart is probably pretty cheap, but I haven't looked there. I know you can buy 5-packs of white Gerber onesies at Target for cheap, too.

  • I think I found the best deal at Walmart for Gerber onesies.  Or, you could do BBB or BRU with a 20% off coupon.  I think it was like $7 something for a 5 pack.

  • All of the above - Target, Kmart, Babies R Us - have Gerber onsies pretty cheap.  The BJ's I go to also often has them, so maybe Costco also has them.
Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.
  • The Dollar Tree carries them too.  Just a note about Gerber, their sizes run small so I would buy the 3-6 month pack instead of the 0-3 month pack.

This is soo true!  I couldn't use the Gerger ones because my DS's head wouldn't fit in the opening....I ended up giving them to a friend....

Ditto. I think Gerber is cheap for a reason - they suck. Definitely get bigger sizes.

    The DC Nest. Winers welcome.

  • Agree with pp's about Gerber sizing. I'd also add that it would be a good idea to get different sizes (maybe one 5-pack of 3-6 and another 6-9 or 6-12). That way the cuteness and thoughtfulness lasts longer Smile

  • If you opt for Gerber definitely get larger sizes and make sure you tell them to use them early.  I found that the Circo brand at Target was good for cheap $.  Whenever we buy plain white onsies we get the Circo brand (also tends to run a little larger so they last longer).
