Monday morning check-in. Who's here? WDYD this weekend?

Good morning ladies! I don't know about you, but I had a super hard time getting going this morning. I am still having trouble functioning so I thought a check-in and weekend report might help get all of us going.

 So, who's here?

What did you do this weekend?

  • I'm here, obviously.

On Saturday, we hosted a baby shower for my SIL. It was a lot of fun and great to get to see her and her husband. They got to see a lot of friends that hadn't seen in quite some time since they had been living out of state the last few years and just moved back.

Sunday, we did church and lunch with the IL's before they headed back out of town and I took two naps :)

  • Hi friends!

We had a pretty low-key weekend.  Friday night we went out to dinner, Saturday I went to a baby shower then hung out w/my girlfriends afterward, and yesterday we went to see my dad, went to DH's tennis match, then watched the superbowl at a friend's house.  I am so so tired today though!!

  • Pretty low key weekend. Didn't do anything until saturday night. Had a 3 year olds birthday party, then DH took Abigail to that CFA daddy daughter date night and had a wonderful time. Yesterday church, came home and I made brunch, then took a nap, then went to the inlays to watch the superbowl. But my FIL would fast forward through l the good commercials and watch all the stupid commercials so I didn't see any of the commercials.

  • I'm here!  We had a pretty low key weekend.  Went to breakfast Saturday morning then did a bunch of errands.  Just hung out at home the rest of the day.  Yesterday we did church, more errands, played outside for a while, and went to a friends house for a pre-superbowl gathering (however it was 6 adults and 5 kids, with 4 being 2 and under, so it was more chaos than football :-)

Amanda, I don't know how much you missed. I only watched part of the first half, but I really wasn't feeling the commercials too much this year :(

  • crazy/busy weekend for us.  I'm just happy that we got through it:)

Friday night: DH and I went to a "singer/song writer series" at North Druid Hills CC--the bass guitarist for the Zach Brown band was the main act--fun time

Saturday: We had Aerin's 2nd bday party--we had about 65 people at our tiny house--including 30 kids.  I made 72 cupcakes and 40 lollipop cookies.  Also a fun time:)

Sunday: We all went to a fun Superbowl party last night in our neighborhood.  Needless to say, we are all dragging.

Plus, operation "eating healthy and exercise regularly" starts today.  I've been eating like crap since we moved here.

  • Our weekend was pretty low key.  I was in bed by 9:30 or 10 every night.  I have  been doing bootcamp 4x a week at 5:45 and this last week I was really depressed.  Determined that it was the lack of sleep and really tried hard to log some sleep hours this weekend.

Friday night was dinner and TV with DH.  Saturday we took the boys to music class and met MIL for lunch.  Then MIL stayed with the boys during nap and DH and I saw Blue Valentine.  It was pretty good.  Yesterday was errands and we hosted a party for the neighbors.  But the women all left early to put our little one's to bed, so I ended up ironing and getting to bed early too.

  • Here!

Low-key weekend for us as well.  Gymboree class on Sat. and  farmer's market and a small Superbowl gathering with neighbors on Sunday.

  • We also had a crazy busy weekend!

Friday was Girls Night Out at a charity event and then dinner and drinks! So fun!

Saturday was lunch, shopping and cocktails with friends and then home for a quick clothing change and out for dinner with 4 other couples and then rush back home for a big UFC fight party with 30+ people and a late night of too many cocktails.

Sunday morning was  a bit of cleaning up the aftermath of the UFC, long hike at the river with the kids and then Superbowl party at our house with all the neighbors! Such a fun weekend! Very busy, but love to be with all my favorite people!

  • We had a great weekend.

Friday night we went out with friends and saw Joe McGuiness. B and I exchanged Valentines gifts we don't do a big Valentines Day. Just not our thing but, he got me an Ipad so that was exciting.

Saturday we lounged around most of the day. My mom and I did sneak away for a bit and went to The Cheesecake Factory and shopping.

Sunday breakfast at American Roadhouse with the Inlaws and a Super Bowl party with my family and friends.

  • Here on and off.  We pretty much did nothing this weekend.  Had one family over to play on Saturday, but that was about it.  We're all suffering from allergies or some kind of crazy sinus crap that is no fun at all.  I am ready for winter to be over!
  • I'm here!

Weekend was ok.  We had new carpet installed in our basement on Friday (renovating it to be a playroom) so that was exciting and I really don't remember what we did for dinner or anything else.  I think we watched some shows on the dvr.

Saturday was Benjamin's birthday.  It was a sucktastic day.  Everything we had planned for him (his party was last weekend so we wanted to have a super fun day on his actual birthday), he didn't want to do.  Then he was acting like a monster and hitting and kicking me, etc.  Oh and DH also let the back gate open by mistake so all three of our dogs got out and since he was at Home Depot, I ran around the cul de sac cursing up a storm and trying to corral them. A fun time was had by all.

Yesterday, we had another birthday party for one of his school friends and came home and just hung out.

  • I'm here!  Just got in from going down to the courthouse for work this morning.

Friday afternoon, I left work early to take Ethan for his 4 year check up.  That was eventful.  He was being a pain when it came to his vision test, but did well with everything else.  He cried his eyes out when he got his shots, but everything was better by the time we left.  We let him choose dinner, so we had a great time at Partners Pizza.

Saturday, I got my hair done and dh took the boys to Monkey Joes.  The rest of the day was spent hanging around home watching movies on Netflix.

Sunday, we ran some errands and then ended up at our neighbor's for a superbowl party.

  • Hi Guys!  I'm having a craptastic Monday but am trying to let it roll off my back.  I've had at least 1 sick child home with me every day for the past 3 weeks.  Finally had everyone well, went to take Tess to MDO aaaaaaaaaand my car battery was dead.  I had to wait 30 minutes for my dad to come pick us up since I couldn't get DH on the phone.  Dropped Tess off an hour late, head to my office aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the school calls me when I'm 1 block from my office to tell me that Emma is sick.  Awesome.  I'm so thankful I can work from home and that DH just went and bought me a new battery.  Anyhooo....

Friday night DH and I went to dinner and over to visit some friends.  Saturday morning some of my girlfriends came over with their kiddos and we had a great visit!  DH took Emma to a hockey game Saturday night and I swung by Happy Hour for a quick cocktail while my parents had Tess.  Yesterday was pretty low key and DH watched the Super Bowl while I finished up some 2010 paperwork.

  • I'm still here!  This weekend was very low key for us just waiting for baby girl to maker her arrival.  Can't believe we both are about to give birth.
  • Started the weekend off with a screaming toddler at 3:45 am Sat. morning. I think he had a nightmare, but it took a little coercing to get him back in the bed.

Saturday, we went to the mall (BIG MISTAKE). It was crowded; I'm talking "week before Christmas" crowded and Cason was not amused by it. I had a serious case of road rage on the way home b/c of the traffic around there. Pizza and relaxation Saturday night.

Sunday, we went to the grocery store to stock up and played outside since it was the first decent weather day in a while. Cleaned house and DH went to a Superbowl party. I was too tired to go, so I watched Sex and City reruns on E all night.

  • Friday, we relaxed @ home.

Saturday, DH and I took DD to Gymbo play & learn class.  I worked on DD's bedroom, one day I will finish decorating her room.  Girls Night In with my mommy group (approx 25 ladies).  Highly recommend trying the "Chocolate Wine" made in Holland, @ Costco for approx $8.99 or you can also find it @ Publix for a little more.

Sunday, DD I went to Target, BRU, Publix and finally Papa John's while DH cleaned the house.  Hosted some friends over for dinner (Pizza).

  • Sick, sick, sick. That was me this weekend. It's *possible* I have the flu, but my doc says I'd feel like I'd been rolled over by a truck. Mostly just terrible cold stuff (stuffy head, runny nose, awful cough). And I alternate between running a teeny-tiny mild fever and nothing at all.

That pretty much confined me to the bed or the couch all weekend. And now DH has it. We're both home from work today recuperating. Geneva actually got her flu shot this year, so if that's what it is, I'm hoping she's safe!

    Blurgh.

  • I am here this afternoon.

I had so much fun this weekend cleaning up puke and sh!t.  The stomach bug hit our house and 2 out of the 4 people went to the emergency room.  Spent most of the weekend at the hospital and doing laundry and sanitizing.  I looked forward to today.

  • Hi! I'm new :)

This weekend I went out to a bar with some friends and decided it was the last time I'll be going out to a bar during this pregnancy. It was a sad moment to leave that phase of my life for the time being.

Saturday I took a long walk with a new mom friend I have, which was great.

Sunday MH and I joined some friends at the Peidmont dog park then settled in to watch the Superbowl from home.

    It was busy/exhausting but nice.
