Lost my MP

I lost my mucus plug this morning and it gives me a sign that my body is progressing in some way. Which is great. Especially with all the contractions I have been having lately. I know it can be up to 2 more weeks, but I do not think I have ever been so excited to see that come out my vag. HA!!!

It is truly funny the stuff we talk about on here.

    It really is funny!  Nothing is TMI here :)  I've been checking the TP every time I go to the bathroom hoping to have some MP or pink or SOMETHING!!  Nada.  Good luck!  I hope you're getting close!!

    I could never tell with DD so I am not expecting to tell this time. I always have discharge so If I were to lose it little by little I wouldn't know. lol

    Oh yes...our topics of conversation have definitely changed in these last few weeks. I have been checking like a mad woman for my MP and haven't seen anything yet. Oh well. : )

    I've lost chunks of mine over the past 2 weeks (each time very exciting! Smile), and then yesterday after some sexy time with DH, I saw a big bloody glob in the toilet.  Got super excited, thinking that it was probably bloody show, and that means labor is starting, right?  I was wondering if there was a difference between bloody show and MP, so I did some research online...and found out that:

    1. MP and bloody show are the same.

    2. Sex can cause you to lose pieces of your MP, and it doesn't mean that labor is starting.

    3. If labor isn't ready to start, your MP will regenerate!!! 

    Makes me feel like all those little pieces of MP meant absolutely nothing!  Stupid overachieving cervix, stop making more of what I'm trying to get rid of!!

    I've been checking the TP everytime as well and haven't found anything. It's getting a little frustrating. Buy my mom said she never experienced any of these signs until she was actually in labor, so I'm just hoping I'll be like her!
