What are you most looking forward to?

Besides our sweet bundles of joy of course....what are you most looking forward to after baby arrives?

Personally, I am hoping I get this "complete" feeling I have heard moms talk about when they knew for sure they were done having babies. Also getting back to running and having a few drinks with my hubby/friends!

Drinking during the summer. Hands down.

ETA: Not that I'm an alcoholic or anything, I just want to sit on the patio during the summer and have a Caipirinha or a V&T.

A few glasses of wine...I love wine and really try not to drink it at all while pregnant. I can't wait to meet her, but I am still so nervous about having a new baby again. The sleepless nights/days and the transition of having a new baby with DS was rough!

I'm not extremely pumped about getting back to drinking but it will be nice to have the summer patio drinking option. I will actually be able to sleep. I realize a baby will keep me up every few hours but as of now I sleep for a half an hour and wake up and do it over and over ALL night ALL the time. Blah.

Biggest excitment....I can't wait to be able to put my shoes on without help!!!

Maternity leave... hands down.

I keep telling my husband how much easier it is going to be on me to only have to deal with one small screaming infant instead of 12 screaming adults at work.

I will be such a sad panda when I have to go back to work.

Having some adult beverages, for sure. And it'll just be getting hot around here when the baby comes so the timing will be perfect. Even if I'm able to breastfeed (hopefully) and can just have one tall frosty blue moon or glass of reisling on the patio I will be a very happy girl.

Drinking and working out more. I can't do quite as much as I used to, but it's nice that it's winter and I don't want to be outside as much. I am definitely excited to strap that baby Bjorn on and go for some hikes this summer!

Baby-wise - cuddling with her in the glider and coming home from the gym to see DH cuddled with her! And new baby smell!!!

Lately, I've been staring longingly into my closet at the dresses from Anthropologie and wishing I could fit one over my bump. I then sadly choose a significantly less attractive outfit from my meager collection of maternity clothes. I'm looking forward to being able to fit into my clothes again!
