I met River & Joaquin Pheonix when I was in high school since they lived near Gainesville, Fl. I went to the same high school Tom Petty (not at the same time obviously). I met Steve Martin when he was filming the movie Parenthood. One of friends from high school was in the movie Passenger 57. That same friend was a newscaster in Houston for a while. Brittney Daniels went to the same high school I did and graduated the year after I did. My friend's husband was the lead singer of a band called No Address (I used to think he was a realtor but that is another story). I met Pink when my roommate styled her for her first album cover. I also go to go on set while the movie No Given Sunday was filming in Miami. I've also met Raul Di Blasio, El Puma and a few other Spanish celebrities while working at The Cheesecake Factory.

I went to HS with Katie Holmes. She was a year behind me, and she & my younger sister hung out with the same group of friends sometimes and sat next to each other at graduation (alphabetically).

In fact, my sis was looking at celeb mags in the checkout line one time and saw a HS yearbook pic of herself -- because she and Katie were in a group photo the mag had used. We all ran out and bought a few copies.

One of my cousins who was a model in CA a loooong time ago dated Ed McMahon (she was very, very much younger than him). She was on the cover of some tabloid with him and my dad recognized her and came home with a copy, saying, "Hey, that's your cousin!"

Jeremy Miller (aka Growing Pain's Ben Seaver) was at my 5th birthday party. His mom was my kindergarten teacher.

I once spent a weekend in Vegas with a couple of the Aquabats.

I used to be semi-friends with one of Fergie's cousins.

DJ Homicide (of Sugar Ray)'s dad used to work with my dad when I was a toddler. They came over for BBQs and DJ Homicide and I would play together.

And this is a stretch, but: Bruce Campbell's daughter asked a good friend of mine to prom (this was after I graduated). He said no!

I'm distant cousins to Richie Valens "La Bamba". My aunt actually attended his funeral. I, of course, never met him.

Before he was famous or had aids, my cousin dated Eazy E. Another person I was too young to meet. Not really the biggest thing to brag about either.

My cousin is a security guard on the "Bad Girls Club". At times you will see him pulling the girls apart during fights. It's pretty funny and I don't know if this really counts.

Brandi grew up in the same neighborhood. My sister knew her and we were really close to one of the girls who is currently on their new show. My sister and I were watching the show and noticed the old friend. We still talk to her sister and neice

My FIL is a singer/songwriter, so he knows and has worked with TONS of famous people. He's written famous songs for lots of them as well.

One of his best friends is Kate Hudson's uncle.

DS got his picture taken with Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum last week. The producer of her first album (and the woman who discovered her) sung at my wedding.

He regularly writes with Keith Urban. FIL's girlfriend wrote Keith's last big single.

Faith Hill was his back-up singer before she was discovered.

Uncle Kracker came over to write last week.

He's forming a band with his girlfriend and Kenny Loggins.

He's tight with the two Beatles.

The list kinda goes on and on. I'm making my mission to have a baby book of pictures of DS with a bunch of famous people. haha.
