I'm looking for ideas of place to take my 6-month old for some indoor fun. I'm counting down the days to spring, but until then, I have no idea what to do with him. DH and I would like to take him somewhere on weekends, b/c he's at the age now where he's just grabbing and exploring everything, and I know he's getting bored at home!
I live in NoVa and I would prefer somewhere with relatively easy parking options. I'm thinking things like children's museums or places where he can touch things and move around a bit? But it all seems to be geared towards toddlers and up.
Any ideas? TIA.
Re: where can I take my 6 month old?
Ditto on storytime at the library.
Barnes and Noble in Clarendon has a storyhour on Wednesday mornings also.
We are going a little stir crazy also! Come on spring!

We did a lot of "toddler" type things while DD was 5-9 months. She often just enjoyed watching the older kids and doing whatever we suggested. Granted, it was summer then, so we loved just getting outside.
We just went to the Be With Me Playseum in Bethesda (there was plenty of three hour parking on a Saturday). And while it was crazy, because it was a Saturday, I could see it being quieter during the week or first thing in the morning. It's a used book store (so there are tons of books to read) and lot's of little adventure rooms. It was really reasonable priced too ($6 per person, for everyone).
