baby Tyler is in the nicu.

After 27 hours of hard labor an episiotomy ans forceps baby Tyler was born. Unfortunately because I was in labor so long and not progressing Tyler caught an infection and will be in the nicu for ten days. He is responding well to treatment and should make a full recovery. Pictures to come. I am also still in the hospital because I lost a lot of blood and have had to get iron transfusions. I should be able to go hone tomorrow if my bloodwork comes.back.

    Awww best wishes for a very speedy recovery for your new baby boy!! Sounds like it was a trying labor experience! Can't wait to see pics! Congrats!!

    Glad to hear he is responding well. Hope you get to spend lots of time with him! Rest up and feel better asap! Remember, NICU sucks, but 10 days and 27 hours are a small price to pay for such a wonderful little boy!
