4 month old stopped STTN??

My LO was sleeping through the night at about 2 months but since he has hit 4 months he has been waking up about twice a night. He eats ( a couple oz) and goes right back to sleep, I am hoping he is just going through a growth spurt, I feel like a zombie, the same way I felt when he was a newborn. Not to mention that DH pretends not to hear him in the middle of the night grrrrrr..My pedi said not to but cereal in his bottle but he is starving 4 hours after he goes to bed..Any suggestions??

  • if you find answers, please post them because my dd started this 2 nights ago! she used to sleep all night :( i've been making sure she eats a lot during the day and she doesn't really seem hungry when she wakes up at night, just restless.

  • My DS didn't ever stop waking at night so, I won't even know when I hit the 4-month wakeful, haha.

  • My DS was going to sleep at 7-8, waking for a feeding (30 min) between 2-4, and up for the day at 8.  This past week his bedtime has gotten later and later, with LOTS of screaming (til 11 the past 2 nights), and he wakes up twice at night.  I hate bedtime, and sleep regression, and hope it doesn't last too long.

  • Sounds like 4 month wakeful period...

As for feeling like a zombie, DS has always woken up between 3-6 times a night to eat, plus he wakes for his pacifier... I'd kill for only two times a night!!
