Amy's news about her impending nuptials got me wondering about everyone's history. I mean the history with your current SO. We've had these posts before, but they're always fun and good for the newbies.
Me and DH: Met in San Francisco the summer of '98, started dating summer '99, engaged in Vancouver spring '08, married in Vegas Spring of '09, bundle of joy born in So Cal, summer '09.

I agree... they are fun! And I remember your wedding?or at least you telling us about it on the PG after 35 board.
Anyway... me and DH:
Met October 2006; Got engaged/I moved in November 2007; Wedding June 2008; Got pregnant November 2008; Little Man born August 2009.
So all of this in only 4-1/2 years.

DH and I will have the 4th anniversary of our first date next week. I can't believe it has only been 4 years.
Met Feb 07, Engaged Apr 08, Married Nov 08, KU April 09, baby girl Jan 10.
Hoping to add to that this year.
Met on jdate in 2004. Moved in together in 2006 followed by getting preg right away. Jason was born in June 2007. Big wedding in June 2009 (after all, I married a 50 y.o. bachelor! Jason stood under the chuppah with us). Preg again in 2010 - Erin was born in October.
Don't ask me about spelling - English is my 3d language.

Me and DH: Met in Los Angeles the fall of '99, started dating fall of '99, eloped in Vegas August of 2000, bundle of joy born in Los Angeles spring '10.
Met DH in Jan. 98...started dating soon after
I moved out of state in 99 and we continued dating but in early 2000 broke up for a few months - went on few dates, but no one had DH's humor, smartness, and I just couldn't get him out of my mind..and the same was true for him
Started dating again in fall 2000. I moved back to Ohio in April 2001.

First off... just_peachy... I didn't have any serious relationships until my mid-30s so you weren't a freak of nature by any means. I was a 35-year-old virgin. But then I was bullied throughout my entire childhood/teen years and had MAJOR self-esteem issues, which are best left for another post.
Laura... we have very similar timelines. :-)
ateytelb... I met my DH on JDate too. I think a lot of Jewish people in NJ (and NYC area) have met their significant others that way.

Emailed for about a month, then met May 2005.
Engaged April 2006. Married May 2007.

DH and I met in August 2002. I was living in Chicago and he in Las Vegas, but we met at a business conference in Dallas. We became friends and emailed occasionally but nothing more. In March 2004 I was living in Dallas, and he and I started talking on the phone every day for HOURS. April 2004 I decided I needed to go to Vegas to see if anything was really there. He started flying to Dallas every month to visit and moved in with me in November 2004. We finally got engaged August 2007 and married November 2007. Pregnant with Miller in May 2009, and our little man arrived January 2010. Praying daily to give him a sibling very, very soon!
I'll pray with you, girl. Miller would make an awesome big brother!

Me and DH:
Met briefly in 2000 but we were both dating other people so nothing came of it. Got together again in 2002 and started dating after a whirlwind weekend where we spent 24/7 together! We liked it so much that we moved in together shortly after that and we've been together 24/7 ever since. We got engaged on 12/30/2005 and got married on 5/6/2007. It was my fault that we had such a long engagement, I felt like we weren't ready financially and deep down I was afraid of marriage, lol. I know too many people and relatives that were miserable in their marriages and I was afraid of that happening to us. We've had our ups and downs but overall we are happy. And now we are even happier since having our sweet boy Adrian in 2009. He completes us
He claims we met in the fall of '91 at a soccer game (I don't remember ; ), plus we missed each other at a Christmas party in 91 too.. We "officially" met through a mutual friend in November of '98. Moved in together in March of 2000 & got our first kitten in June '00. Engaged Christmas day 03. Married Jun '04 (no, we were not pregnant ; ) We just knew we would have a short engagment since we dated for 5 yrs & already lived together! Moved from MA to CT Nov 1 '04 (after the Sox one the World series! & got our first dog & house May of 05. First son Feb '06, 2nd son in Dec '07, & last son in Sep '09. What a wonderful start to our marriage!
DH and I met in grad school - we had a developmental neurobiology class together - nerdy love over a text book ;-)
Our first date was in March 1999, we moved in together Aug, 2002 and shacked up for 4.5 years until we got married Dec 31, 2006. Ada was born June 2009 and the rest is history waiting to be written!!
I am late to the game, but here is my story.
DH and I dated in 1992 - 1993, broke up went our seperate ways. Fast forward to 2007. We started dating again. Engaged in 2008, married in 08/2009, and babies in 07/2010.
