Hi there!!
My name is Virginia. I am currently in New Hampshire. I have an amazing job, a fabulous husband but I am totally new to the world of babies and the bump and trying to conceive. I am so excited to learn a ton of information from those of you who are looking to help a lady in need.
I'm a 29 year old, married a bit over four years. My DH and I decided we would love to make a family. So, here I am! I am anxious and excited. So much to learn!!
Re: New and praying for a little one!
Welcome!
If you're not already taking prenatal vitamins, get started with those. Also, get a financial, physical and dental checkup before you get started, vaccinations up to date, etc. If you haven't read it yet, Taking Charge of Your Fertility (TCOYF) is a great reference on how your body works - it's a lot different than that film in 7th grade had us believe. FertilityFriend.com is an excellent website with tutorials on ovulation and conception; many here temp their basal body temperatures (BBT) and chart to better understand their cycles, and predict ovulation.
Lurk on several boards and you will find one that's right for you. Each board has it's own dynamic, so hang out for a little bit until you get a good feel for one. Then post an introduction on that board. Remember to scroll through several pages before you ask a question as your question may have been recently asked.
Good luck!
