Anyones DC refuse to swallow veggies?

I will give DS steamed veggies, (bite sized) carrots/peas/greenbeans/corn etc..

He will nom on them for awhile and stuffs them in his cheeks (carrots are the worst) Its like if they don't dissolve he doesn't want to swallow them! It is driving me crazy!! He will keep shoving them in his mouth, I eventually have to take them out of his cheeks!

Anyone else having issues with finger foods and not wanting to swallow ??

    DD does this, then eventually spits them out on her own.  I don't think she likes the texture of all the small pieces (she does the same with ground meats).  I figure she's getting the flavor, anyway, and at least some of it gets swallowed.  She kept doing it with her cucumber today lol.

    DD does this too. She eventually swallows when I give her water in the sippy cup. Sometimes she keeps chomping till she swallows on her own or spits it out.
