Before we even started TTC I had decided if we have a girl the nursery theme will be cherry blossoms. I want to do a big cherry blossom tree behind the crib and just have various accessories featuring cherry blossoms. I found these letters on etsy to spell out her name but do you think this would be overdoing it?

It matches the bedding I have picked out. Or would it be better to just do solid pink or brown?
Re: Is this too much?
I love those letters. It's tough to say if it'll be too busy without knowing what else you're doing in the room.
Can you link to your bedding? I'm still looking for inspiration...
I think I'd do those two things that fit with your theme and then go with solids in the shades of the pinks of the blooms.
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

this is a similar tree, but the colors of the blooms will be a dark pink.
Here's the bedding
I think the solid colors might be the best bet so it's not overkill, I just think the letters are too cute!
I agree. Super cute!
I like this idea. Or if the letters were on an opposite wall from the tree, I don't think it'd be too much then.
The Sand in My Snow Boots
I think I am going to put it on the opposite wall since the tree will be taking up a lot of room on that wall...
I liek the idea of the 1st letter in the cherry blossoms too. I never even thought of doing it that way!
If the tree, bedding and then wall letters are all that you are doing in the pattern, then I don't think it's too much at all.
I like this idea.
That looks like the Graco Lauren.
