We have Calphalon but I noticed they seem to be flaking or something. We've had them about 4 years. We have the whole stainless set and then the two (small and large) non stick black frying pans that need replacing. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.

Re: Favorite non-stick frying pans?
We have a Calphalon hard anodized as well and love it. I tried finding the exact one but no luck. It was only about $35 but I've just had it a month so hard telling how it will hold up.
QVC's Technique Hard Anodized - love them!
They are dishwasher safe too.
I have to tell you, our entire set of Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick pans we got for our wedding (nearly 6 years ago) slowly began to "flake" and ruin food over the years. We never put them in the dishwasher nor used metal utensils but were told they are overly sensitive to "too high heat". I'm not sure if this could be the cause to your pans but I know I had no clue and am pretty sure I ruined my pans by using a flame that was just too hot. Ugh.
Anyway, my point:
They have a lifetime warranty and Bed, Bath & Beyond honors that with no questions asked nor any proof that you bought the pans from them! Just call the store and explain what's going on and they'll have you bring them in and give you store credit to purchase new pans. No box nor receipt needed!
At least this is what they told me and I ended up getting a new All-Clad set. I did however purchase the 12" and 10" Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick pans (exactly like I had before) and am just careful not to use too high of a flame. I have had no issues at all in this last year.
Good luck, so many great brands out there!

Thank you for this! Now I can get that pan out of the garage and do something with it.
The two men in my life. Oh, and I have a husband too...
I have a set from Kitchen Aid that I bought and they are great.
I used to have All Clad, but they started flaking and were too heavy.
