My poor little girl hurt herself!!!

My little Allison was grasping at everything in sight, playing on her back under her little hanging toys. She seemed to be having a good ol' time. She was grabbing up above her head, her own clothes, my fingers, and the toys. She's just starting to figure out those things are actually HER hands.

WELL... Poor girl grabbed a hold of her own hair and pulled down. It hurt her so she clenched her hand tighter and pulled down harder! She started screaming bloody murder! I had to try sooo hard to get her little hand off her hair.

Her face was beet red almost purple from crying. I picked her up and cradled her which she calmed quickly but I felt so bad and got a lump in my throat because I felt so bad.

Casey did the same thing a couple weeks ago. Carly noticed right away that he had his hair in his hand and tried getting it out. Since she's always touching him, I went to shoo her away and I saw what he was doing. He pulled and started crying. I think if Carly didn't notice right away, he would have been screaming by the time I looked at him. On the plus side, I think he learned right away because his hand hasn't gone near his head since then.

LO still doesn't really have hair at 6 weeks lol but grabs on to mine once in a while haha
