Tell me about your fitteds

Right now we use prefolds for day and BG for night. What would be the advantage of fitted diapers? I can't see where they fit into a stash. Dumb question I know, but I keep looking at them and can't figure out how I would use them, especially for the price. Thanks ladies!

Well, I hate stuffing pockets, and AIOs take a long time to dry, so for home use I love using them.

Also, you can use them with wool covers which allow the butt to breathe.

AND, we use them at night with wool. She sleeps longer because the wetness has a chance to evaporate a bit.

We use them at home without a cover or with wool, so her bum can get more air. They are typically more expensive because they are made with natural fibers, versus synthetic like most pockets. Plus, they're much cuter!

Most of our fitteds have been bought used, so we don't have a huge investment in them.

I prefer them b/c they are natural fiber so allow for breathability which helps prevent rashes. During the day we use them with wool longies. At night we use an overnight fitted with a wool soaker. Very absorbent!

I only use them at night. I find them way too bulky for daytime use.

I loved using fitteds at home with wool longies or soakers. When we were going to be out for an extended amount of time, it was easiest to just do the pocket diapers, but if I prefer the look of a wool covered bum.

This exactly. We have prefolds as well but we never use them because fitteds hold more, are easier and never leak. Once Nolan got to about 4-5 months, nothing would hold him at night except fitteds. Additionally, since wool breathes, its much nicer on the baby's skin for nighttime diapering AND I find that I have less ammonia pee smell when we use wool as opposed to pockets at night.

We use them at home usually coverless or with wool. Pockets don't work so well for us. I hate stuffing them and she always leaks out.
