I tried the cheaper version that Summer Infant makes and it was OK, a little harder for them to get out of, but not as snug. My girls did best with the Aden Anasis swaddle blankets. Mia hated being swaddled but slept so much better when she was swaddled and they were they only thing she'd tolerate.
They're expensive, but worth it and also were great nursing and stroller covers. Target has them for a little less.
Nay. It doesnt keep their little arms secure, they can still wiggle around inside. My boys screamed when I would put them in it. They LOVED the miracle blanket, and so did I
I loved the miracle blankets until the got older and could move around, then we switched to the woombies. they were great for us. The girls loved them and we probably used them a little longer than we should have.

This.
I have had success with the Swaddle Me and with large, lightweight swaddle blankets (i.e. the Aden & Anais mentioned above.)
