For those that made some sort of banner, how did you create the slits in the paper to thread the ribbon through? I feel like I'm making this harder than it should be.
I made one for Tyson's birthday using a thin long punch that my mom has in her scrapbook stash. The one I made for my SIL's shower I just used a regular hole punch.
ETA: The thin long punch is called a badge or slot punch.
Can I tell you how dumb I feel right now? I've had out an exacto knife, a sharp tiny pair of scissors, etc - all trying to make a slit. Yeah, the hole punch that I have upstairs would be a lot easier.
