question for formula moms...

We've been using the similac advance ready to feed for about a month and my DS has done fine on it. we just switched to the powder for obvious cost reasons and he's really been spitting up a lot. any thoughts? did anyone else experience this? 

Is there a difference?

    There is.  RTF is a little thicker so sometimes babies spit up less on it...

    In this house, however, the opposite is true.  My boys spit up less on powder than RTF.

     

    Me: PCOs DH: Perfect!

    DD has been on the Target Up&Up since she decided she didn't want to BF(at about 4 weeks old).  She has some spit up every once and awhile but not a lot.  Has it been mixed enough?  Just a thought.  I hope it gets betterSmile

    the bottles could be getting too much air in them from shaking them to mix them up, which you wouldnt have to do with the ready to feed... try making the bottles ahead of time and just heating them up from the fridge if he wont take them cold.

    This!!!!  My DD spits up on either one.  I prefer the powder.  Per our pedi she is a "happy spitter".  His term...not mine...lol

    This is my theory as well.
