ob recommendations for aetna hmo

hi all,

i'm new to the board, got my bfp 5 days ago after 13 mths of ttc!!!  In 2011 i'm downgrading to aetna hmo and need to find a new obgyn.  i would be grateful for any recs.  i live in the westwood/century city area but would be willing to travel a bit.

    sorry i don't have a rec for you - i'm new to the area and was lost myself.  i found a much better response by joining the peachhead group on yahoo.  it's for LA area parents and has way more life than this ghost town of a local board.

    Hey there,

    Not sure if you will even see this but I am aetna hmo, too, and you're going to get recommended wherever your primary medical group offers, sadly enough. Check out yelp.com to see if you can find reviews for the docs you can see - I know there are a couple I would NEVER go to based on that. I just had my med group switchedso the OB I got referred to and was liking is going to switch now. :(
