This probably sounds dumb, but let's say Sprout ate acorn squash w/out incident for 3 days. Do I really need to wait 3 days when I give him, say, butternut squash?
Same goes for chicken & turkey, kidney beans & black beans, spinach & kale, etc.
After M eats a couple dozen foods without incident, I'll probably get more lax. I would still be careful with the known allergenic foods, like wheat, eggs, strrawberries.
With Maggie I did but then with Molly the pedi told me those rules are out the window if you aren't expecting allergies. I generally still kept to the 3 day rule since it can't hurt though.
