Cramping, contractions, and shooting pain in groin!

I have felt pretty good this entire pregnancy until 2 days ago. I have cramps on and off yesterday they got pretty strong and started coming in waves. They were contractions but the really strong ones only lasted about 40 minutes. Today I am getting a really bad sharp, shooting pain in my groin while I'm standing or walking. Fun, huh?! Just curious is anyone else has this going on. I'm just hoping I don't feel this way for 2 more weeks b/c I'm really uncomfortable! Maybe something more will happen soon! Anyone else feel like this?? Misery loves company Wink

    I've had the same the sharping shooting pains in my groin area near my upper thigh. And it was only when I was standing too. I asked my doctor and he said it's your body just getting ready. More than likely the baby is dropping and he measured me and said he had. So that might be the reason for the pain you are getting. Your LO might be dropping more into your pelvis.

    I am here with ya....the pain is not fun! Luckily it has gone away some.

    Me! Me! I have all of that :)  I'm due in a week, so who knows if she'll come tomorrow or wait a couple more weeks!  I felt really well until just a couple of days ago, too.  Now I understand the whole 'get this baby out of me' thing :)  I'm not in pain ALL of the time, it comes and goes, but I've got the cramping, contractions, and shooting pains.  Hopefully we'll meet our babies soon!!
