Re: outside baby mommas: lady bits

  • 1. 1 day, and definitely a little sore and swollen still

    2. Not at all - I haven't even showered yet...

    3. Only when we try nursing and they are very mild

  • Just over a week out.  No landscaping for a while I think.  Yes, still contractions when pumping especially but the random contractions stopped after 3-4 days.  I'm still a bit sore and I think I'm still swollen but I'm not looking.  It just still feels different and a bit achy but not bad at all.  I felt significantly better on day 5 but I think it'll be another week until I'm feeling almost normal.

Overall, much less pain then I expected.

  • 1. I'm 18 days PP, but had a c/s

    2. Hell to the no. I got shaved by my nurse, does that count?

    3. I had them for quite awhile and I was on Pitocin through my 2nd day PP. I still have a random one here or there, but it just feels like a mild AF cramp.

    1. how many days post partum are you, and are you still sore/swollen down there? (if you had a vag delivery)  2 days :)  had a c-section

    2. has anyone made the plunge to do any landscaping?  no and prob won't for awhile... not like that area is getting any action for a little while!

    3. uterine contractions: are you still having them? and are yours painful?  yes and they make my c-section incision painful... they are most pronounced with breastfeeding

  • 1. 15 days post partum.  No longer swollen from the 2.5 hours of pushing before my c-section.

    2. I have done some landscaping down there, however it's a bit hard cause the steri-strips from my c-section are getting in the way.

    3. Uterine contractions I think have come to a stop, but some of them were very uncomfortable, not painful.

  • from my first:

    1. was swollen for several days if not a week.

    2. I did not do any sort of "landscaping" for a few weeks PP!!

    3. Had ute contrax during BFing for a couple weeks after.  There was one night that they were really bad and I had to take a Motrin in order to sleep.

  • 1. I had my sweet girl on Wednesday night, so about 3 days. I had a vag delivery and still sore/swollen. But, I'm taking some pretty amazing pain killers and it's helped knock out the pain.

    2. I have not even THOUGHT about doing anything down there with a razor. I've got stiches and don't want to mess anything up down there more than it already is. lol

    3. I have them the worst when I'm nursing. Other than that, I don't have them much at all...but heck yea, they are painful!!!

  • 1- 7 days today and still a bit sore

2- too nervous since I had a couple sutures for a tear

3- yes I still have some contractions.  They told me this is normal and that they will feel a bit worse when nursing/pumping.

  • 16 days and still puffy and very bruised feeling up front. I did shave and am regretting it. I feel like I have diaper rash now from the constant pads. I don't feel ctx anymore, but I do sometimes get a gush while bfing.
  • 1. I was feeling good but in the last day feel swollen again. Not sure what that's about. I have a 1st degree tear.

    2. just on the top area to prevent itching

    3. not really. They were awful until about day 4.

    1. how many days post partum are you, and are you still sore/swollen down there? (if you had a vag delivery) i am 14 days pp and i am just fine. i was sore/swollen for about 3 days. my ankles were swollen longer than my lady bits!

    2. has anyone made the plunge to do any landscaping? no, i am not worried about it for now. after awhile but before dh and i just back in to the swing of things, i will fix it down there.

    3. uterine contractions: are you still having them? and are yours painful?

i have felt fine and no pain medication (tylenol or motirn) since about day 4 post partum. i bounce back pretty quickly... i am pumping and bottle feeding my breastmilk so every now and then I get crampy when I pump. other than that... nothing.

i wish i had not bounced back so quickly and let dh spoil me a little more. but with the baby in the NICU for the first 9-10 days... my pampering started when he came home. lol

  • 6 days PP and things are fine might still be a bit swollen I stopped with the peri bottle 3 days ago

Hell no I haven't even shaved my legs yet

the after birth pains were AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL for 2 days. During some I shaking and freezing even 800mg advil wasn't helping. They got better day by day and now I don't really have any. MW said they get worse with each baby and she was right.

  • 1- 10 days PP, I had a c-section but was still puffy down there from the 28 hours of labor before and surgery until about 5 days PP.

2- I still have steri-strips so not really, but I have shaved my legs since the only thing comfortable to wear is dresses right now.

3- I have not had any contractions since labor even when breastfeeding. I am on motrin from the surgery so maybe I am just not feeling them?

  • 1. 14 days PP and haven't been swollen for at last a week or more. I had an episiotomy. I was bruised for a bit too but that went away. Lately I've just felt a lot of pressure which is a bit uncomfortable.

    2. Just landscaped yesterday.

    3. Only rarely. I had them for a few days but I wasn't able to breastfeed after that and they stopped.

  • 1. how many days post partum are you, and are you still sore/swollen down there? had a c-section so no swelling

    2. has anyone made the plunge to do any landscaping? Yes. I feel cleaner with PP bleeding if I tidy things up a bit, lol.

    3. uterine contractions: are you still having them? and are yours painful? I am almost 2 weeks out and I still have contractions when I nurse. Had zero bleeding 2 days ago and then started gushing during nursing again yesterday from the contractions. Fun!
