I just ran across this article. I would be interested to hear the thoughts of some of our preemie moms. The FDA's "accelerated" approval process worries me a bit but preterm birth is such an enormous problem in this country I am glad to see something new and promising coming down the pike. At least it is progress.

Re: New Drug to Prevent Preterm Birth - Anyone heard of this?
I just heard about this new drug yesterday in the news. Like Moesten, I am a little skeptical about the FDA's quick approval process, but I feel like it's certainly a step in the right direction to help prevent the huge increase in preterm deliveries.
Since I didn't have pProm with DD, but HELLP syndrome, the weekly hormone injections this PG were not suggested by my OB. I am praying that I am able to carry my baby girl to term this time, and I hope other moms can do the same perhaps with the aid of this new drug.
