Was anyone else told that since baby was so low that the measurements are off and not as large as they would be if he was higher? I was told today that since LO was so low down in my pelvis that they can't accurately measure him, that he is measuring 37.5 weeks but that he is likely closer to 39 because they can't fully get him measured? This was kind of a depressing appointment anyway, because I was still 50% effaced and 'fingertip' aka not at all dilated, the same as I was at my 36 week appointment...

Re: Measuring question
I wouldn't worry about any of it. I was measuring 35 weeks when I was actually 39 weeks. Simply because the baby was sooo low.
One other thing. Every single appointment that I went to, I wasn't dilated at all. It frustrated me to no end! I never lost my mucus plus, my water never broke and I never had the "bloody show". I finally started having severe contractions at about 40 wks 4 days and baby Grace came the very next day. I lost my mucus plug and had my "bloody show" at the hospital and they broke my water about and hour before I started pushing. I wouldn't be so down. Your precious baby will be here soon enough!
Good Luck!
