Tell me about last years GTG

I'm getting excited about this year's GTG!

If you went last year, tell me all about it!  What did you all do?  How many people came?  What went well, and what could have been better - either with the planning or execution?

    It was fun! I'm sorry to have to miss this year but no travel for me when pg!

    We had a few planned events...welcome party at my place Friday evening, then Sat. morning some of us had spa treatments, others just hung out around the city, shopped, did some sightseeing. Saturday night we met for dinner/drinks at a bar in Wrigleyville, and Sunday no events, not sure if people met up. I know a few came and did the March for Babies with us. Don't know exactly how many came, maybe 20 (including locals)? I think we're FB friends, if so, you can see pics in my albums (from April 2010).

    I won't speak to planning since I did a lot of it so may be biased. I think it might have been nice to have another organized event on Sunday but I don't know how many were still around then. When we did the TTTC GTG in 2008 we had a Sunday brunch that was nice. We also did a boat trip on Lake Michigan for the TTTC gtg that was really fun.

    There were... 7 of us at the hotel.  What a fun group we had!!!  We did a lot of walking around the neighborhood, breakfast at the bagel shop, a Vince Vaughan sighting, shopping, drinks, etc.  It was wonderful.  Pregnant Skimmy ordering her "kiddie cocktail with extra kiddie".

    Good times.  Can't wait to do it again.

    Thanks for the details, guys.  So, it sounded like a mixture of spontaneous stuff and planned activities.  I checked out your pics Schmoodle, and it looks like a fun time!
