When did your baby start getting fussy?

DS is obviously still in the sleepy newborn phase and doesn't cry much. When thinking back to DD I remember her fussiness peaking around 6-8 weeks or so. When did your LO start "waking up" and become more fussy?

LO got fussy at 2 1/2-3 wks and has gotten worse since. We're waiting to get over the peak.

About 2-3 days ago, like PP.

But then we figured out he has a milk protein allergy, so although he's less fussy now, he hates the new disgusting [smells like Meow Mix] formula we're supplementing with, and is only fussy when he eats it.

Now, at her last feeding at night. She is sleeping longer periods at night so she feeds, feeds, feeds, before bed. She's so tired she will nurse a minute then scream & rub her eyes. She gets so irritable she claws my chest terrible. Looks like I've been BFing Fred Kruger when she's done. LOL

It started around week 3, then got better, and started again around 5 weeks, and hasn't stopped since! Like PP, I am just waiting to get over the hump!

I was just discussing this with DH tonight. Since week 6, but it has escalated. We used to be sure of taking him out in the afternoon since he would nap so well in the car and stroller....gone are those days!

3 weeks to the day. It peaked around 10-11 weeks, but he's still pretty fussy right before bed. However, only one hour of screaming is better than the all day screaming we had going on for awhile.

probably just this week...soo 4 weeks. He wants to be held when hes tired & will fight it till you hold him then he will go to sleep & he is nursing alot soo I think he is still goin thru a growth spurt.

Week 3 for us. Now we're starting to understand his cues better and soothe him faster--when possible.
