Excited about baby shower "activity"! :-)

Since a bunch of us have showers coming up, I wanted to share a cool activity my friend came up with:

Each guest is going to get a plain white baby onesie and fabric paint/marking pens and gets to custom design a onesie for Liam!

My invitations ended up being cool, but I didn't think anyone here would like them, so I didn't want to post them and get my feelings hurt. I'll admit, it's not what I expected, but Michelle used lines from a Marie Howe poem and did an original encaustic painting that is me with my pregnant belly painted on a background inspired by the poem. I'm sure that I'll always treasure having a painting of me pregnant. (And it's a little kick ass that since she used encaustics--melted beeswax--that it took a blowtorch to make the original for my shower invitations!)

my family does this at all of our baby showers. we make sure to have all different sizes. it's such a fun way to get cute, personalized onesies.

I have done this activity for past showers I have hosted, we also have done bibs. I think they may also be doing this for my shower tomorrow but just a guess. My friends made some pretty inappropriate comments on onesies that were hilarious a couple of years ago.

My mom mentioned doing this for my shower a while back, I hope she still does it. I'd love to see what kind of onsies my family would come up with! They aren't very artistic but I'm thinking there would be some funny sayings.
