    Considering that a bumper is not supposed to be used in a crib, or the quilt (while they are little), I think buying bedding sets is a tremendous waste of money. I hate to sound negative, but paying for a package, when you can only use the sheets and bedskirt, seems silly! :)

     

    Can you buy just the sheet and bedskirt? The other items will just end up in the closet. :)

    I love how so many people offer unsolicited advice on bedding here.  Yes, everyone knows about bumpers and quilts.  Yes, many people buy sets to have all the pieces for a toddler.  Some people hang the quilt in the room or use it to accessorize.  And some mom choose to use the bumper.  It may not be a waste to her.  Maybe it's silly to you, but it's not unheard of. 

    That being said, OP, I have both of those on my list as well so I am no help deciding.  The only thing I will say is that I went to PBK today and saw the Coco Dot in person.  It was brighter than I thought it would be (even the brown of the sheets).  The Petite Paisley is only online/catalog so I didn't see it in person, but it looks a little brighter than the Coco Dot so it might be a littler overwhelming?  Idk.  I still like it though.  They're both adorable.  GL!

    As much as I usually love the paisley design, I think I like the second one more. I really like the soft colors with the brown. Here's the one I am getting because it has a paisley design and a lot of brown

    I was a big fan of the paisley until I really thought about the bumper issue some more.  I know that quilts don't get used in the crib but I don't like the quilt that goes with it, so I picked one that I liked better, in the event we are having a girl (PBK Hayley) because the only part I liked about the Paisley one is well, the bumper.  Not much good if you don't use the bumper :/  Good luck!  I change my mind about 10x a day!

    For sure the first one. I think I've seen atleast 5 (probably more) people on these boards that are getting the 2nd one. Plus, I love paisleys!

    I have painted my nursery the Benjamin Moore color from the Co co dot nursery and I LOVE IT! :) I love the simple yet lack of pink in that nursery! love the bedding even more! it is however too expensive for our budget so  I may just settle for the quilt but do plain white, brown, or pink everything else. The color also looks nice with the cherry furniture we have too!
