My husband has the flu :(

Seriously?  His fever was at 103 last night - Doctor got him on Tamiflu this morning so hopefully it will be somewhat short lived.  I am so scared of either going into labor while he is completely incapacitated or of catching it myself.  I got a flu vaccine but it's no guarantee.  What horrible timing!

    That IS horrible. I'm sorry :( Is it possible for him to retreat to a different room (and sleep there) until he is better? Everyone around me is sick with the flu right now and I'm paranoid too. Good luck!

    Here's the bright side-he's sick now & hopefully will be better by the time your LO comes as opposed to him getting sick in another week.  DH just gave me his cold & I'm so upset & pissed but I finally found the bright side that at least we still have more time with LO on the inside to not get sick too.  So in a really screwed up way consider yourself lucky that it's now & not later.  & if you do get sick, which you probably won't, it should only be for 1 day, but don't even think like that.  Can you send him somewhere to stay like relatives?
