I am a HUGE Starbucks hor, but I have no interest in a trenta. A venti is just right.
I agree my venti's seem perfect although I will have to try it once to make sure
My new years resolutions with DH was for us to stop buying our lattes on a daily basis. I think in the month of January we broke 2-3 times because of rough nights with DD. I will be trying a trenta though one time.

We quit last year. It was HARD. SB used to be a line in our budget. Seriously.
We invested in a good espresso machine and haven't looked back. I only go about once a week now.
My husband is a manager for the one on the Capital here and he mentioned they are only using it for iced drinks. I remember when I worked there that we would always get people that wanted extra ice so it ended up lessening the about of coffee they were getting. I guess this is their way of making sure they are still getting enough coffee in those veins

We totally want to get an espresso machine. DH and I did the numbers one night and just realized how much we were spending. It wasn't so bad when it was just him and I. I also was working. NOW, though we started getting ventis with quad shots etc. since you have a ton of sleepless nights with a newborn. Anyways, we were spending a crap load of money. An espresso machine would totally pay for itself after 1-2 months in this house.
They had this is past summer (the cup size) its 32oz. my DH would get ice coffees all the time. I go to starbucks almost daily but I only buy brewed coffee (venti half cafe) I only get latte's when I get my free coffees from my rewards card!
Re: Starbucks trenta cup holds an entire bottle of wine
I agree, I cant finish an iced white mocha before it gets all gross and watered down. lol
However, I love a good challenge.
If I had that much coffee...I would be pooping all freakin' day.
tmi? ha!

That is way too much coffee for me. I'd seriously be up for 3 days.
The wine, on the other hand, I could use.
And it would fit in your cup holder in the car and has a spill proof lid! LOL
I think I am in love. I will have my coffee for the day and a cup to fit my bottle of wine into later that night. Who wouldn't want that?!?!?!

Awesome! It's a multipurpose cup...like a little black dress (for work and going out after) or a fancy expensive diaper bag that can be a purse too.
Exactly! PLUS I will be saving the environment by using the same cup everyday.

Wino breath would tip them off. It would have to be vodka.
This whole thread is cracking me up!
And now I am seriously thinking about going to Starbucks when Reece gets up! Peppermint Mocha has been calling my name for weeks!
They've had it in Phoenix for awhile now. (I think we were one of the test markets?)
I tried it. I had tummy problems for two days.
