One of my friends is an Army Wife and was venting about someone who apparently wants to give up their dog rather then deal with relocating with the dog....

I commented "to me pets are an equal part of the family, I wouldn't give up my kids and my pets are my kids."

Some a**crack really seriously replied...

"that's why I have absolutely no desire to reproduce, w/ the amount of irresponsible people bringing innocent lives into a world of death & destruction w/ absolutely no concept/understanding of how to raise a child other than sitting them in... front of a t.v. & letting comcast/verison raise their children..... then all the abandoned/foster/adoption kids, societies still trying to figure out how to impregnate the sterile.... "If your unable to have babies naturally, IT IS NOT, I REPEAT, NOT YOUR GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO BARE CHILD & GIVE BIRTH."

    I know I'm really hormonal, but this comment literally has me in tears. I love my son, and dh and I will be great parents. Who the hell is he to judge?

    I think the better part of all of this is this person doesn't know me at all and therefore doesn't know about our IVF, etc. But I wonder if he'd have the balls to say that to my face if he did...

    I messaged my friend and told her "I don't like that guy."  She knows all about our struggles.

    Then I promptly blocked him so I'd never have to look at his horrible non-reproducing self ever again.
