Phew! All tests normal. Back to the couch...

I've been home from work now for a week and a half after having high bp, but normal bloodwork and NST. Yesterday after having a headache for 2 days I called my dr and they had me come back in to draw blood again. My bp was high again (tests normal at home, tho) so she sent me back for a second NST and fluid check. The NST was normal as were my fluid levels and the dr just called me back to tell me my blood tests are also all clear (no pre-e). My headache persists but seems like it might be a sinus thing as it hurts way more when I'm lying down or when I cough so she told me to try Tylenol Sinus. My crappy neighborhood drugstore didn't have any so DH is on a mission when he comes home from work later. So no outside baby for me yet...back to manning my post on the couch. I'm running out of things on my DVR!

That's great it came back negative. Not to scare you but make sure to still keep a close eye on it still..... I was fully tested on Last sunday for pre-e and it was negative including the 24 hour urine collection, went back in to l&d for still high pressures on Wednesday afternoon only to be diagnosed with pre-e due to the protein amount in my urine test that day and high bp and sudden vision change in my right eye for about 10 minutes ( NST & fluid levels where great , and blood tests came back still negative still) after all my negative tests 3 days earlier, so it changed in a matter of 3 days and was induced that day and c/s the next day.

I totally hear ya on running out of stuff on the DVR! I have only officially been on bestrest for two days now and I am going crazy!To all the moms who were on bedrest for freaking ever, I salute you, you are my heroes! Tonight we are going to the IL's house to stay the night solely because their recliners are comfier and they have more channels.

Thanks -- I'm still taking my bp at home 2-3 times a day and resting a lot. Mostly just hoping I can go into labor naturally, but if anything comes up I'm pretty quick to call the doctor.

Feel better! I've had all the signs of Pre-e the doctor has been convinced it was progressing but my blood and urine tests always come back fine. I too have had the constant headaches they are no fun. My doctor prescribed some sorta caffeine pill which has helped a lot doesn't take the edge off completely but it works.

Glad to hear everything is well! Drink lots of water! I had a friend who was starting to notice symptoms of pre-e and her doctor recommended drinking a lot of water and her symptoms totally went away, because water helps to remove toxins from your body. Not sure if this works for everyone, but my headaches always go away whenever I drink a bottle of water. Good luck!
