Place for a Shower

I am looking for a place for my shower (well, my mom is looking...). I would love somewhere in the Media, Springfield, Drexel Hill ect. area. Maybe somewhere that I can bring my own food...or somewhere affordable.

Ideas??

Re: Place for a Shower

  • Mine was at the Town House in Media.  You can;t bring your own, but I think it was pretty affordable for lunch.

  • Maggie O'Neill's in Drexel Hill is not BYO, but the packages are really affordable. Maybe try the Broomall Fire Company, they have space to rent out.

  • If you want to bring your own, I would try the various local fire halls.  Most of them have added banquet space so you're not where the trucks are housed like you used to be.  Double check though that you are able to bring in your own food, as with the addition of a banquet hall came many rules for some of the them.  I looked at Boothwyn Fire Company for my wedding reception, they had a beautiful hall, but I don't remember if you can bring in you own food.  Also, if friends, family, or yourself go to a church with some sort of an event hall they may rent at a very reasonable price and let you bring in your own food.

  • Mine was at Anthony's, not BYO, but apparently reasonable.  And really good food.

Bon Air fire hall in Havertown is nice, you can BYO, it holds about 80 people, so it's not real big.  The kitchen area was spacious for getting food ready.  It was 400.00 for the afternoon.  We used it for the baptism party.

  • Don't know if these are in your area, but From the Boot in Ambler has a downstairs party space.  Also, my sister went to a baby shower at Cafe La Fontana in Hatboro.
