I think Texas has been transplanted...

to the North.  Are we missing a couple states up there?  Let's have a rollcall.  I'm scared we were just plopped down somewhere in the Northern U.S. and are squishing the Dakotas or something.

    oh you didn't know? all the states got reorganized. someone just shuffled them all around. and apparently cape cod is now in canada because it's been even colder than normal and we've gotten waaaaay too much snow!

    does that mean we're close enough for a GTG now? :P

    I am stuck at home because the door of my detached garage is frozen shut!  I have already poured hot salt water on what I thought was the culprit area at the base but no cigar.  Any other ideas?

    My parents transplanted to Houston and said everything is covered in ice down there.  And they don't have the equipment to treat the roads and don't use salt.  Sounds like people will be shut in for a little bit.  It's -10 up here.

    How much further south do I have to go to survive this winter! I'm so over it! It'd be OK if we lived somewhere capable of handling snow and ice, but no, Texas can't even keep up with our electricity needs!

    Good luck at the grocery store!  I sent DH yesterday and they were out of a lot of stuff.  There wasn't a single egg in the whole store.  They haven't been receiving some of their shipments due to the ice storm.
