when will i see the heartbeat?

I had an u/s today at 5w5d and RE said everything looked perfect (aside from that disturbing SCH!), but I am just curious as to when I should expect the heartbeat. Next week I will have another u/s at 6w3d....should I see one then?

    I saw the h/b at 6w2d. It's usually right around 6 weeks plus a few days. I would think you would be able to at 6w3d.

    I would say there is a good chance.  It can be anywhere around that 6 week mark.  I know that I have heard many ladies say that at their u/s around that time the RE told them they may see one but don't need to worry if they didn't yet.  You may also see one that is slow because it is just starting.

    My RE doesn't start u/s till 7weeks and she could see the flickers, but we couldn't hear anything...at 8 weeks we could see and hear!

    I saw my baby's heartbeat at 6 weeks on the dot.

    We were able to see the flicker at 6w5d. The tech said she could see it at our 5w5d appointment, but I couldn't see it. It was definitely there at 6w5d.

    I had my 1st u/s at exactly 7 weeks and we saw the heartbeat.

    I was 6w1d or 6w2 days (I cannot remember details like the other ladies on this board!) and we definitely saw her heartbeat.

    We saw the hb at 7w0d. At our 6w0d appointment all we could see was the sac and a little something inside it. But I have a late implanter in me :) I think you might be able to see it at 6w3d!

    I think it's usually ~6wks plus or minus, so don't worry if it's not there yet.  My 1st was @ 7wks and we saw it then.  GL!

    I had my u/s at around 6 weeks and we saw the heartbeat. So you should probably see it next week!

    We saw the heartbeat at 6w0d.  So you should be able to see one at 6w3d.

    We just had our 1st U/S yesterday at 6w2d & saw the heartbeat. :)  Aren't the ultrasounds exciting?  I woke up at 5 am even though our appointment wasn't til 11:30. ;)
