Madeline is here (pip) u/s weight was WAY off!

Miss Madeline came screaming into the world on Friday January 28th via scheduled C section due to my complete placenta previa and gestational diabetes. At 37w2d, she was being estimated to be a 8- 8.5 lb or more baby. She weighed just 5 lbs 11 oz and was 18 inches long. At my 33 week ultrasound they were already predicting her to be in the 83rd percentile and 5 lbs 13 oz. Talk about being completely off. So ladies, plan for the unexpected. Newborn clothing does not fit my tiny girl and we have to use preemie swaddler diapers.

Congrats! She is adorable!!! Now I am nervous. I have a scheduled induction on Monday and they said LO will be alittle over 8lbs. I bought nothing newborn...now I am rethinking. Enjoy your new little girl!
