Attack of the green-eyed monster!

One of my coworkers was also pregnant and due February 8th (4 days after me, I'm due tomorrow) and I just checked my work e-mail and discovered that she had her baby yesterday.  Of course I'm super happy for her, her son is ADORABLE, but I can't help feeling jealous, I want to be done being pregnant and be able to hold my baby!

Anybody have a good idea for inducing labor? I'm open to anything, old wives tales... (I've already had my membranes stripped, and been walking and eating spicy food) I'm ready to get this going!

  • Someone posted this before...I haven't tried it, but it would make for a great dinner even if it doesn't work.

  • All the old wives' tales I've heard:

Raspberry Leaf tea (also strengthens your uterus), Sex, WALKING, Chinese Food, Spicy Food, Indian Food, Pineapple (but you'd have to eat like 7 a day), Mango (same thing), Yoga, Squats/Lunges, Eggplan Parm (per pp), umm that's all I know.

    Good luck! :)

  • My aunt says she started labor with both her girls using a pressure point on her ankle. I looked it up online yesterday, supposedly you are to massage the inside of your ankle - right behind the bone for 15 - 20 minutes.

I really wouldn't know if this works or not, but I promised MH I wouldn't try it until after Tuesday, my next OB visit.
