DD had her first crash and burn today :-(

DD fell asleep on the couch today while I was reading her a book, so I laid her down and "barricaded" her in with pillows since I didn't want to wake her up to put her in her crib. I stepped into the kitchen (about three steps away and not out of sight of the couch) to grab a glass of water and almost immediately after I turned my back I heard a thud. She rolled off the couch! She wasn't hurt, but she sure was PISSED! She was sleeping pretty hard, so I'm sure she just rolled in her sleep. What a way to wake up! She only cried for about 15 seconds and fell right back to sleep, but I felt like a pretty sh!tty mom. Looks like her days of couch-sleeping are over. Poor girl....

DD just did this about a month ago but she was with my mom. I heard her fall from another room and I broke my foot trying to jump up and check on her! I'm still in a cast right now!

Exactly! I should have started having kids at a younger age. I have old brittle bones. LOL
