Anyone not loving names?

We found out we are having a boy and are really thrilled but we cannot pick out a name that we love. The only name that we both like is Gavin Michael T last name and my DH is Gary Michael so they would have the same initals. But I don't love it yet and I haven't one that I say oh I love that. We know the middle name is going to be Michael, Robert, or James all family names depending on what sounds best with first name. With DD we just loved her name and there was no question.

Anyone in the same boat? Any name suggestions that I may have not considered?

    Did you try the Baby Names board? With a little more direction I've seen a lot of great suggestions come from them!

    We're having a girl but we had two names that we loved for boys - Howard and Charlie. Do you like any of those?

    I feel you!  I don't have any boy name suggestions for you but I can certainly say that I know what you're going through.

    I'm having the same problem only with girl names.  DH and I had a boys name picked out as soon as we knew we were pg, we just love love loved it plus it held sentimental value for both of us.  Now the doc is pretty sure it's a girl and we have a name picked that we both like, but I just don't LOVE it and I've gone through a ton of names online, in books, etc and just don't love anything.

    I'm in your boat, only with girl names. We have opposite tastes and I don't care for any of his names and he hates all of mine. :( It's proving to be realllly frustrating.

    Are you set on it starting with G so he'll have same initials as dad? Gavin is cute! Other suggestions: Griffin, Grant, Graham, Gage, Gannon, Garrett, Gabriel, Grady, Grayson.

    Me!  We were set on a boys name but we're having a girl (to be confirmed at anatomy scan on Monday).  Everything I like is either too popular, doesn't flow right or bad initials (the one name that flows and sounds good has the initials ODD...yeah, can't have that). 

    So I feel your pain.  I've been back and forth on the baby names board but honestly, it isn't helping.  We should have a lot more time to think about it though!

    I tried the names board back a couple months ago before we knew but I just don't love one same prob I had when pg with DD :( If she had been a boy I would have been in the same boat. 

    I am not set on G but I do like Grayson a lot but can't convince DH to like it hehe. I think my biggest problem is I worked as a Guidance Counselor in a High School and work with 450 students on my caseload for 4 year so I have some many students that come to mind when I think of a name that it ruins it for me.

    How about Harrison, Jackson, or Emerson?   I guess I like names that end in son! Try looking at the social security website, I know it's strange but you can do a search that will give you popular names for each year.  We looked and found some interesting ones!

    On the surname front, my coworkers friend named their DS Whittaker James and I'm in love with it.

    We've tossed a few names around, but we aren't getting serious about it until we find out if it is a girl or boy.

    I say don't stress too much, you still have 23 weeks to go!

    MH and I aren't agreeing at all right now but aren't too seriously discussing too much until we have the anatomy scan. I was bummed when he didn't like a girls name I'd been thinking about all week though.

    Don't have advice, but I'm in the same boat. I have a few girls' names that I love, but we found out Monday that we're having a boy. I'm so happy, but I don't know that I'lll *love* a boy's name. Well, we all have time.

    I have no brilliant ideas for you, but we are in the same boat. I loved so many names before I was actually pregnant, and now picking one seems so daunting...
