What do you do to be EF that you don't like/think is a hassle? used to say cloth wipes though they're ok to me now; currently, its the compost since its hard to get it out through the snow in the backyard

What steps do you take to be EF? Recycle, programmable thermostat, we will be cloth diapering and making our own baby food.
What do you do to be EF that you don't like/think is a hassle? I plan to start a compost pile in the summer though it'll be a hassle keeping the dogs away. I'm going to have to find some kind of fencing for it.

What is your favorite shop to buy clothes for yourself and for your LO? Me: Ugh, I hate clothes shopping for my mself because it's hard to find clothes for short, normal shaped women. My wardrobe is a hodge podge of stuff from GAP, Target and Ann Taylor Loft.

Are you a working mom or a SAHM? A little of both. I work part time as a pediatric nurse and stay home with DD the rest of the time.

What steps do you take to be EF? Compost, recycle, cloth diaper, make some of my own household cleaners and laundry soap, energy efficient updates to the house, use reusable bags, etc.
What do you do to be EF that you don't like/think is a hassle? Using some of our household cleaners that I have made.....I just feel like they don't do as good of a job/stay clean as long as the "bad" cleaners. I end up having to clean more often.

What do you do to be EF that you don't like/think is a hassle? Read this wrong the first time... I don't find much of it a hassle but I guess cleaning and seperating out the recycling.

What is your favorite shop to buy clothes for yourself and for your LO? I am a thrift store freak, but I also buy from Target and Gap. I buy for Violet online a lot. Pretty much whatever is on sale, but we have so many clothes that were given as gifts for my shower, when she was born, Christmas, etc. so I have not had to purchase many clothing items for her thus far.

Where is your dream destination for a vacation? I like anywhere warm and beachy, but would love to go to St. Thomas. We go to Assateague Island every summer to beach camp (I have gone since I was 2.)
What is your guilty pleasure (music wise)? Nerdcore rap and 8-bit music. ha! (I am really into mellow stuff, indie music, good hip hop and old school punk and ska.) Pretty much everything but gospel and country.
What steps do you take to be EF? Make some my own household cleansers, recycle, buy organic produce and meats, etc. Cloth diaper, purchase second hand items (or repurpose and reuse items I have or have been given by friends or family members) sew, use reusable shopping bags...
What do you do to be EF that you don't like/think is a hassle? Recycling but only bc we have to drive our recyclables to another town since they do not do pick ups in our town. I also am not a fan of recycled TP. It is very dusty IMO. I would like to start a compost in the Spring (if we are not moving bc we might)

What do you do to be EF that you don't like/think is a hassle? Composting...I hate having to find something to put it all in to take it outside. Oh, and line drying. It's oh so very time consuming, especially when you have a 2 year old and 5 month old!!

I'm a treasure hunter though, so probably vintage shops? LO: We inherited a chest of daddy's old clothes, so that's all he knows for now.. haha!

What steps do you take to be EF? Compost, garden, eat locally and mostly organic, support local businesses and farmer's markets, and we reuse as much as we can and won't buy something if the packaging isn't compostable or recyclable in our area, use EF cleaning products and cloth diapers. Oh, and we try to buy used when possible, and get things repaired instead of replaced.
What do you do to be EF that you don't like/think is a hassle? Walk instead of drive. It's just really easy where we live. We take the subway and walk everywhere.

Me: Eddie Bauer, LOs: I would love to shop for the boys at some of the cute kids stores here, but I won't pay 60 Euros for a pair of size 12 month Levis. My mom finds the best stuff for us at second hand sales and sends it over. That's my favorite! (I do enjoy H&M for the boys and myself, too.)

I'm not a fan of the CD laundry, but that is only because our super-efficient European washer takes 5+ hours to wash one load of diapers. But I like CDing enough that I won't be stopping anytime soon! And I kinda like sorting the clean diapers and putting them away.
