Toddler with a Hernia- recs

My son has a hernia near his groin.  He had a hydrocel back in Sept but it decreased in size.  I am of course very worried since he might have to have surgery.  We will be taking him to Texas Children's next week for an examiniation but I wasn't impressed with our appointment or the physician.  Does anyone have a rec for a pediatric surgeon either with Texas Children's or a private practice?

    DS #1 had hernia surgery at 10 months.  Our Pedi gave us his name.  I cannot for the life of me remember his name.  The surgery it's self was not bad.  He was literally back there for 30min.  The aftermath of being knocked out was worse than the surgery.

    Dr. Mark Mazzioti did surgery for Maddy at TCH.  He was great to work with.
