If you are on 25mg of a medicine and are switched to 50mg, can you just take 2 of your 25 mg pills?
Dr just upped my Zoloft and i hate wasting money, so i'd prefer to keep taking my current bottle. Isn't 2 25 mg = 1 50 mg? I mean, the math is right ![]()
Thanks!
Re: NBR: Rx dosage question (Pharms, Drs, Nurses come in)
Yep, that is perfectly fine.
yup. in your case, it's fine.
the only thing I'll throw out there as a PSA is a case where you have COATED caps where they're time release (like some anti-d's are, and other meds) and you would not want to break THOSE in half to satisfy a smaller/partial dose. Those tabs would be called ER, XR, CR or something, and typically have a candy-like coating like M&M's, or a capsule filled with beads. Bottom line, always good to check with your doc, pharm at Target, or some random chics on the interwebz, lol.
Exactly. I mean, i know math, but not chemicals
Thanks ladies.
