How many teeth did your child have at 16 months?

Just curious.

Tyler has 8 teeth, no molars. Just 4 up top and 4 on bottom. I just know we're going to go through teething hell, we haven't yet. I do find it sort of odd he only has 8 teeth.

DD has the front 8, plus her 1 yr molars. I think we're starting on her eye-teeth now too, Ms. Fussypants No-sleep has returned. Are his molars swollen at all? DD's were swollen for what seemed like forever and then they just suddenly popped through.

CJ has had 8 teeth when he was a year old and a full mouthful of teeth ever since he was about 13/14 months old. I definitely remember the week that all 4 molars came in at once - that sucked! I agree with PP, his back gums were really swollen and then parts of the molars popped through. Those teeth are huge! I'd imagine they hurt coming in. Good luck!

Charlotte had at least 8 (the 4 front on top and bottom), maybe 10... I can't remember but she is 20 months right now and that's what she still has. She is cutting 6 more at the moment though (perfect timing since we have a 2 week old, right?) including her top molars. If I remember correctly, Ava had a mouthful of teeth but still didn't cut her first molars until a little later, maybe 18 months or so.

8, then 1 year molars busted through at 18 months, then at 19 months top 2 canines, now at 20 months bottom 2 canines just broke through the gums.

I *think* everything but the eye teeth. I know he had the 8, and he sprouted his 1 year molars at 13 months.

4 or 6... she didn't get her first tooth until 11.5 months.

DS had all but his 2 year molars by this age but DD has her front 8 and her 1st set of molars and is teething again for the teeth between those. It is normal
