Thankful Thursday!

What is everyone thankful for today?

I will start.  I am thankful that P is saying more words everyday so it makes it easier for him to communicate.  This morning he saw my yogurt and attempted to say yogurt so I knew he wanted some for his breakfast.  I am also thankful that SD's aunt and cousin came to get the bassinnet out of his room (after talking about getting it for close to a year).  Now I have more space in there for his two toy containers and it looks much less cluttered.  I HATE clutter.

I am also thankful that the weekend is in two short days, and I have a fantabulous recipe for Buffalo Chicken Dip that I can't wait to make for the Superbowl party we're going to!

  • I'm thankfull for the blizzard we had and that I had a snow day yesterday.  It was a great day....I stayed inside all day and had a lazy day just handing out with DD!

  • Please share the recipe.  I hope it's not too fattening.  I have been known to eat the entire bowl by myself Embarrassed

I am thankful to have the evening free.  My XH will be picking up the kids from Ms Dianne's today and taking them to dinner with his parents.  I think I will go get a pedicure after work, or maybe go to the gym, or both!

I am thankful that my state refund came in less than a week.  It was a small check, but it's nice to have it so soon.  Federal won't even process mine until mid February.

  • Myself! I am thankful that in the past year I have been able to keep my sanity and raise Logan better than I ever thought I could.

That for more than half of his first year I was able to financially support him alone.

And that I have the most beautiful baby boy who tomorrow will no longer be an infant but now a toddler. Surprise

Good for you!  I felt the same way at J's birthday.  But the day before J's first birthday I was an emotional mess, crying and reflecting on the past year.  It was just too much.

  • I am thankful that the bestie was in town this last week and came to rescue me yesterday with his cousin and two snow blowers! He saved me some money because I would have had to hire someone to come and dig me out behind the 7 ft. drifts! Ugh..

I am also thankful to have a mom and SIL who fight over who gets to watch K so I don't have to pay anyone for daycare!

  • I'm super thankful for my amazing neighbor who not only plowed me out from all the snow yesterday, but has been doing so all winter without me every asking. He rocks!

I'm thankful a construction company has bought the dump across the street from me and is flipping it. I can't wait to see the final product. At last glance, it looked the the interior was completely gutted down to the studs.

I'm thankful for my snow day yesterday. DS stayed home with me and was able to get some much needed rest to help get over this bug he can't seem to shake.

  • I am thankful that DS has been able to keep me happy these past couple days. I am also thankful that I finally found the courage to talk to DH and finally tell him what is going through my mind and that I am sure I could not take him back.
