WoW, What a name choice

So my DH works with a girl that is due a little later than us and she just found out she's having a boy.....She is naming him Remi Martin...Gasp.

    A friend of mine has boy/girl twins and the little girl is Remi and the boy is Cade.  I think the name is cute but their last name is not Martin.  But Remi Martin together?  Lol, that's hilarious to me.

    It might be fun while in college, but those resumes are going to get passed around and not taken very seriously. Which is a shame.

    Remi/Remy is a fairly common French name. That's not weird.

    Going for "Remi Martin" is kind of like "Jack Daniel" or "Harley Davidson", though.

    I have a little boy in class right now whose name is Remy.  He is the cutest thing EVER!  It always makes me think of the movie Ratatouille!

    I agree I think the name Remi/Remy is cute but why in the world use mn Martin...

    I don't think people will get offended. The baby name board always makes fun of bad  names, I say go for it.

    My mom used to work with the children at a women's drug rehab center and there was a little girl name Mai Tai. There were also a lot of other children with equally horrible non-alcohol related names, but I can't think of any right now.
